Recommended software

  • Firefox - Firefox has precise text selection (Internet Explorer selects text in clumps), built-in spell check, and most importantly keeps your work in case of a server hiccup while saving an article and you have to press the back button.
  • ClipCache Pro - Save frequently used text in an unlimited-slot clipboard. It's perfect for quickly calling up templates and much more.

Model interviews

Do you have contact with a busty woman, or think that you can get in touch with one? She could be a model, pornstar, general celebrity, or amateur - being famous is not necessary. Boobpedia is always looking to interview busty women, so if you know a suitable subject, please ask her to email a Boobpedia administrator. You just might see her featured on Boobpedia!

Identification

Wouldn't it be better, if there would be one page called Boobpedia:Identification where everybody could aks for ID instead of whole pages just for one ID? Solved ID requests could be deleted or moved to an archive. I think this would be a better solution than the current practice. What do you think?--Lichter 11:02, 11 December 2012 (EST)

That's an excellent idea. We should work out some sort of format for such a page. The Honorable 17:21, 11 December 2012 (EST)
Okay, I tried it. See Boobpedia:Identification and feel free to improve it. --Lichter 18:28, 11 December 2012 (EST)
Seems like, ID requests should all be (or all are) tagged with Category:Identification_needed, and this creates a list of pages similar to what is being suggested, except what is suggested, requires list maintenance. EditorsChoice (talk) 19:58, 22 August 2019 (EDT)

I went over all of the ID requests and tried to clean them up and simplify the process. I got rid of Boobpedia:Identification because it was only used once, and it was confusing to have a second different place to do things. Moved the only entry on it to its own page. I replaced the raw category text with Template:ID which is used like this: {{ID|2008}}, {{ID|2008|cold}}, {{ID|2008|done}}. This marks each request with the year it was opened, and allows to mark cold ones (dead links, info needed) and complete ones. I moved many cases to the cold category, and I used the templates to generate a recent changes style category for open ID requests sorted by most recent changed first. Now that it's all collected by template instead of a category, you can make future organizational changes in one place with the template.

I have one more suggestion, that we should move all the pages starting with ID out of the Main namespace, so they don't end putting their results into the regular searches or getting indexed by external search engines. I know that initially the ID requests were supposed to be the start of a new article, but almost none of existing ones are written like this. Instead they are like forum discussions, and a lot of their content has usernames and other material that we probably don't want to make so visible by having them in the main article namespace. It should be as simple as doing a move on each page, but I don't want to do this unless someone else thinks it's a good idea. If you do want to have an ID request article that is a searchable article stub, you could still put those in the main namespace too, the category doesn't discriminate against different namespaces. Maybe the existing "Talk:" namespace works for this, but a new "ID:" namespace might make it easier? - Slupper (talk) 20:27, 17 June 2023 (UTC)

Photos in user pages

I suggest that fair use images should no longer be allowed in user pages, much the same as with Wikipedia. They should only be allowed within articles or ID pages/the request page. Boobs Online 17:49, 24 December 2012 (EST)

You're absolutely right. Unless the user page contains some sort of article about the photo subject, they should not be used on user pages. The Honorable 14:36, 30 December 2012 (EST)
Should we start removing them from such pages? These are examples of pages I found when tagging unused images - User:Loose cannon/Images and User:Marcus. Boobs Online 17:10, 30 December 2012 (EST)
I think users should be notified first, so they have a chance to change it themselves. The Honorable 21:21, 30 December 2012 (EST)

Edit summaries

Are editors encouraged to leave edit summaries here? It's frustrating to have edits reverted with no edit summary explaining the reason. A quick edit summary would be extremely beneficial; is a policy being violated or is it just a matter of differing opinions? JennaDollFan 13:21, 4 October 2014 (EDT)

Minor biobox issue(applies mainly for TS/TG models)

At present putting a yes for hardcore causes the "Boy/Girl" section under Performances to list the model as having done vaginal sex scenes. This is clearly inaccurate for a large number of TS/TG models. The simplest workaround for this is to leave hardcore blank. --Quorwyf 18:50, 15 February 2015 (EST)

Changing Cup/Bra Size Over Time

How do you deal with the inevitable growth most women, especially natural, have over time. Take Danica Collins, early 80s to 2013. When she started as a page 3 Girl in the UK at 16, she was a lithe 32E (UK), and by the time she retired at 49, she was a buxom MILF, hourglass, 34GG or H (UK). msjayhawk (talk) 23:04, 19 November 2018 (EST)

I agree boobs tend to increase or shrink in size. In such a case, the latest stats on the measurements can be taken. Also i appreciate the use of bobstory template in this regard. But many times the information across the timeline is not available.

Ashley Tisdale is an example of this but I'm not sure of a way to verify it for her. She started out as a 34A then went up some time in the mid-to-late 2000s to at least a C/D and now is back down to having her implants removed after implant illness. Is she worthy of an article? User:Bluesman2383 09:06, 6 June 2021 (CST).

34DD & 36D are the same size. There are 3 to 5 hooks on the back band; it's adjustable there. It's not really a good indicator, but guys wonder. That part maybe, yeah. Cup is just what the breast will fit into. Most ladies don't even wear the correct size. Not many ladies even know how to correctly put on a bra; they just guess at it, and the same is true for the size.

Up a band size (back band size) down a cup size. So 34C becomes 32D or 36B. Up on the cup, down on the band. The ratio works like that. If that or breast augmentation surgery wasn't enough; you still got chicken cutlets. Under the breast pieces of silicone that make the breast look bigger at the top or sides; cause that's a great place to hide it. For example while on screen or for a outfit.

UK & US cups sizes are different. You can look at how to size a bra to a lady to begin counting. Need to know how that works, and then practice it. The bra needs to actually work. That's what is being sized. Start at the nipple; count up, down, or both. The A cup might be 1.5 to 3 inches; it's a estimate, B cup is less, C cup it quickly becomes a more uniform 1 inch measurement.

So when I count cup I give it a pair of huge nipples basically; with the areola. That first bit is just for the A, AA, AAA. Then it gets more easy; cause it's just counting C, D, DD, DDD & then E or above. Not too tight, not too loose. Same for the back band; except it's more uniform cause it's just a inch measurement around the bust or chest. I count back band in sections of the human body.

Common sizes of female bodies helps, 32, 34, 36, and jumping up to 38. Her bust measurement tells way more about the woman than the cup size; as men we tend to focus on that more. Chest size or torso; we use that as men too. I feel like I was way more interested in how some of these women appear on screen. They dress up, and use fake parts to make it look how they were going to look.

This actor Ambyr Childers in season 2 of YOU on Netflix appeared in a 34DDD or 36DD; when I know for a fact she was not that large in the bust. They were killing her character off. Time to find a job. Seems like when a female actor needs to find a new job; her boobs get bigger. Man, I wish my life was that easy. Cool though, to find a place to display these fictional characters.

Shown versus Leaked

I'm not sure if this has been discussed previously, but can we get some clarification on the topic of what a model has shown in instances where things that are not meant for public consumption are "leaked," not shown.

Should there be a leaked flag in Template:Biobox new? EditorsChoice (talk) 14:34, 20 September 2019 (EDT)

Leak highlighted, but 'shown' remains blanked, in contrast to the handling of the Sexy Mandy leaks. EditorsChoice (talk) 14:51, 20 September 2019 (EDT)

Internal Errors

I've been running into this a lot lately.

Internal error Jump to navigation Jump to search [XtsENKfLCmBGfPagykIv4wAAAE4] 2020-06-06 02:49:24: Fatal exception of type "Error"]

That one came from trying to look at the Olivia O'Lovely page. Is there something wrong on my end?

It's a glitch caused by a recent software upgrade. For now, deleting or commenting out <ref> tags will cause the page to display normally. The Honorable (talk) 16:23, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

Natural/Fake boob change

biobox should include boob enchantments. for example briana banks had a lovely saggy tits in very beginning of her career or latoya devi had big natural saggy boobs but both have fake tits now.Yesjulz (talk) 02:55, 20 April 2022 (UTC) enchantments?

Unrealistic Categories

hi, i am fan of puffy and missile tits like most people here (i guess) and got disappointed after checked 5-6 girls because they dont fit the category. can we create sub-categories for narrowing the list? let's say, extreme/super puffies (like faye reagan or recently alina kova's) for puffy nipples or extreme/super missiles (like lana wood or traci lords or more recently emma sinclaire's) for missile boobs. no idea... for example, i dont call missile boobs of first 5 women from the missile boobs list (from abbey brooks to abelia). more than that, it says there are 1,562 girls who have missile boobs which is ridiculous and unrealistic. missile boobs and puffy nipples are rare things. most of these tits are not even missile or puffy.

the reason why i say this i dont think people would be happy when they could find only 50-60 girls have their favorite boob types from a list of 1562 girls. we should simplify this by making sub-categories if you ask me.

another thing is sorting the list by creation/adding date. you know people could come here in every 3 weeks to check if there is a new girl who falls under their fav. breast type. currently you never know if there is a new girl added here because it is sorted alphabetical. U.S. State Names VS. State Abbreviations

I suggest that the Actual State Name be used for Birth and Death Locations in the U.S. since not all readers know the abbreviations for U.S. States. Thanks. BlueMax (talk) 20:32, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
