Faster, Pussycat! Year! Year!

Hi, Prophecy-- Yes, I agree we definitely don't want any more columns in the filmography listings. Actually, as far as commercial links, my References serve that purpose, though Boobpedia isn't getting any benefit from this, I guess. Also, I doubt many BP-users would even be able to use those site-- Most Japanese retailers don't ship overseas. Thanks for catching the template goof-- I sometimes work too fast, at night, sleepy, and drinking, and am not as careful as I should be :-) I do go back and review my work constantly, so I'd have probably caught the mistakes eventually. About the Faster, Pussycat, Kill! Kill! year, though, I suspect 1966 is the correct date from the print source. I know IMdB and Wiki say 1965, but this would mean that Motorpsycho and Faster Pussycat were released the same month-- highly suspicious, as I know that Motorspsycho was sort of a rehearsal for Faster Pussycat... Some pretty reliable websites like THIS say 1966. I'll hold off on changing it back though until I'm home tonight and can check the print source. I say, if the print source says '66, that's what we're using for our source, and that's the year we should use... (Wouldn't it be nice if we are more accurate than Wiki on this? That's what they get for driving away editors who really have an interest in content instead of Wiki-politics ;-) Dekkappai 15:22, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Hey, wait-- I think I have access to contemporary Variety reviews and the AFI Catalogue-- I'll check them later and let them decide the year. Cheers! Dekkappai 15:26, 5 August 2008 (EDT)
Strange... I think I had August 1966, right? But here's what I find:
  • MOTOR PSYCHO
    Hollywood Reporter v.186 n.45 , 13 August 1965, p.3
  • FASTER, PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL!
    Hollywood Reporter v.189 n.20 , 08 February 1966
    Variety 09 February 1966
Which would indicate Motorpsycho was released in Aug '66, and Pussycat in Feb '66... And Faster Pussycat says released in '65, copyright '66... I'll try to dig up the original sources and check what they say. Dekkappai 15:39, 5 August 2008 (EDT)
Ah HA! Faster Pussycat was given an L.A. showing on Aug 6, 1965, and then released nationally on Feb 1, 1966. (I assume, but have no evidence, that the L.A. showing was a pre-release viewing, and that more post-production was done before the '66 release... Dekkappai 15:51, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Swiss

While I was looking at the biobox of a few people. I noticed "Swiss" is a red link. But when I look at the Swiss category page. Their names are on the category. Sort of odd don't you think? I remember you were redirecting nationalites awhile ago. Maybe that was it? Apara 20:23, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Tango II (bra)

Sure-- I read it last night. I'll see if I can touch it up quickly. Cheers! Dekkappai 09:25, 6 August 2008 (EDT)

OK, done-- feel free to alter anything if I've inadvertently changed the meaning. :-) Dekkappai 09:32, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
By the way-- there were no real errors in what you wrote, I just made minor style adjustments, but the article as you wrote it was perfectly fine... "Distribution" does imply a distributor / company, I think... Maybe just "Models who wear... ?" Dekkappai 13:05, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
I'll think it over today and let you know if I come up with any possibilities... Oh-- I double-checked the print source I'm using on the Meyer films, and they agreed with the AFI & original years. Looks like we're right and IMDb/Wiki is wrong :-) Dekkappai 13:33, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
Oh, one more thing-- about the question of whether to include non-busty and/or male actors in the "starring" field of the film infobox: How about this: We only put the featured busty actresses in the infobox "Starring" field, but then we have a separate "Cast" listing within the film article which lists everyone-- actors & actresses, with their role names, if known. I'll try to get started on this with the Meyer films tonight. Dekkappai 14:18, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
No ideas on the bra list yet... I came across this little bit that may help with the Japanese bras, if it doesn't tell what you already knew: http://www.gijo.org/main/faq#faq3, and http://www.gijo.org/main/faq#faq4 Dekkappai 00:00, 8 August 2008 (EDT)

Problems with Uschi's filmography

Hi, Prophecy. I was just trying to work on Uschi Digard's filmography, and came across a couple problems. I've got the best version I was able to put together saved at User:Dekkappai\Uschi.

  1. First and foremost-- is a filmography this large, all templated, an abuse of Templates, and will it cause server problems? And if it is, what do we do with large filmographies?
  2. If I include the film Up! in the filmography, it messes up anything that comes below it-- all the film templates display as text "template" all squished into one box. If I put the film at the top of the list though, it works OK...
  3. This filmography has several "protect" links to commercial affiliates. I put these all under the "notes", and they worked fine in Preview mode, but BP won't let me save it, saying I'm trying to alter or remove Protected text. The only way I was able to save it in my workspace was to totally remove the links... Dekkappai 02:40, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
  1. Right. "Huge boobs" with an interesting, multiple derivation: De-kappu (D-cup) + Oppai (titties) or dekai (enormous -- the "k" doubled for emphasis) + oppai. Got it off an old Mariko Morikawa video. And no, I don't have them, though I've become uncomfortably aware lately, that that's how the name could be interpreted... No, I'm interested in them, very much so, the Asian variety particularly, but I don't have them unless you mean "have" as in being happily married to someone with a couple :-) (Korean, not Japanese, but the Korean for "dekkappai" wouldn't serve me very well because of that country's unfortunate, but hopefully eventually to be rectified, lack of a big-bust industry.)
  2. The Big Server Crash of August 6. ME??? I'm innocent!!!. :-) No, really-- I wasn't doing anything at the time but checking recent changes. It happened at a time that I was on a computer where I'm unable to edit anything BP-ish. By the time it came to my lunch hour / BP-free editing time, BP had been down for a couple hours. No idea what could have done it...
  3. Thanks for fixing Up!-- I should have looked at the template. Where it goes in '76-- I don't know, since we don't have dates attached to the releases in the filmography yet. I or someone else will have to fix that up later.
  4. The Protect tags-- yes, we're a small, level-headed, and agreeable group of editors so far, I really see no reason for those tags, and, apparently, they're going to prevent any kind of Filmography work... Even if we did have an editor who went on a Crusade to remove all the affiliate links, that kind of thing is easily reverted. And it seems like a "protect" tag should be added only after something like that happens... I'll try working around them like you said-- though I don't see how that would make any more difference than simply building the filmography around them as I did... Dekkappai 09:42, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
Well, what's odd is I did originally build my filmography around the protect tags, keeping the affiliate links and the tags intact, and it still wouldn't let me save it at the article... that's why I copied it to my user space. I had basically just reformatted the existing filmography and stuck the Protect tags and affiliate links into the Notes section, but BP wouldn't let me do that... Japanese lesson #2: By odd coincidence, Uschi's name has meaning in Japanese. I mean this as no reflection on the lovely lady herself, but "ushi" in Japanese means "cow"... which reminds me of a great Korean wild-goose chase I went on a while ago. My wife, ever sensitive to my interests :-) pointed out that there was a boob-centric Korean video made in the 1980s called "Cheosso Buin" ("Madame Milk Cow"). Unfortunately, research around the web turned up evidence that the title was just a lot of hype, and the lead actress was hardly BP-worthy :-( Dekkappai 12:14, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
Ah... I built the template filmography through global "Find & Replace" commands, so maybe I inadvertently added or removed a space or something in the "Protect" tags. I'll try redoing it tonight. I don't mind having them in the "Notes" field so much if there are no actual notes to the film. But if they start pushing out real data, then they become overly intrusive. Dekkappai 16:06, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
By the way, they get pretty clever in playing around with the titles related to my user name. Check out Nozomi Takeuchi's video titled "π" (Pi - pronounced "Pai" as in "Oppai"...:-) Dekkappai 16:31, 8 August 2008 (EDT)

Film template

I thought All Movie Guide was in there as one of the Databases, but I don't see it now... Shouldn't it be there? For now, I'll just add it as external link. Dekkappai 00:25, 9 August 2008 (EDT)

Good-- One thing about AMG though is, they have a "Plot synopsis" main page, which is often useful. But sometimes they also have a "Review" which is useful in its own right, and sometimes written by a different critic than the one who wrote the synopsis. In the film template, Wiki only links to the Plot synopsis. We might want both? Or maybe we're loading the template up to much, and the Review should go in external links? Dekkappai 00:43, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
Uschi: I copied and pasted the protected text into the notes field, and again it wouldn't let me save it. I'm sure nothing was changed between the "Protect" parameters this time... Dekkappai 02:41, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
I was trying to save it at Uschi's article, the filmography. Dekkappai 11:11, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
I see you managed to save it, but it looks like the afilliate/protect tags are completely gone? How'd you manage that, and is this what we should be doing? Seems to me that these "protect" tags are a big pain in the ass, and for absolutely no good reason-- None of us would intentionally remove/alter them, but they're making our editing difficult... Dekkappai 11:39, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
Ouch! My condolences, Prophecy. I know how this kind of thing hurts. I was working on The Joy of Big Tits on a day that the server was down. I worked long and hard on it all day-- probably about 12 hours. Then when I was exhausted and ready to call it a night and go to bed, I thought I'd create an "image upload" file to make uploading easier. Get this: I OVER-WROTE the original article file!!! That was not a happy moment :-(
By the way, Prophecy-- you mentioned thinking about starting an article on the film Eyes Wide Shut (I haven't seen the film yet) because it had a scene with a busty actress in it, but deciding that this alone didn't fulfill BP's inclusion category. How did you work around this problem? I ask because I recently saw a 1960s Japanese historical drama (set in ancient China) which has a couple scenes of a spectacularly-built Japanese actress. I haven't been able to find her name yet, and the film would not qualify as a big-bust film just based on these couple scenes with one supporting actress... What to do? Dekkappai 16:18, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
She's not top-, but one of the recurring characters in the film. She's the wild & strong wife of the leader of a band of outlaws. You see her through the film, and then towards the end, while her husband is away, she gets horny and decides to take her frustrations out on one of the other outlaws. She rips off her own blouse and-- WOW-- :-) And the director (Koji Wakamatsu-- very respected in pink films) keeps coming back to that scene, even after the loving's over, and she, fortunately for us viewers, sees no reason to put her clothes back on :) Maybe "Big tits in such & such a film?" Anyway, until I can get some information on her, it's all speculation for now. Dekkappai 17:01, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
Well, the Meyer filmographies weren't taken from IMDb, but from the AFI Catalog (Apara tells me that one of these is in error). I didn't know what format to put the cast in, so I just made that up. Maybe a table would be better? Doris Wishman? Yes, I think she deserves an article. She made several nudist films with our subjects in the early '60s, then the 2 big Chesty Morgan films. So, Wishman is definitely BP-material, though I don't feel inspired to start that article soon... eventually though... Dekkappai 00:17, 10 August 2008 (EDT)

"It's nearly impossible to have smaller areolas"

Do you want to explain that comment? If that is small, what does large look like? -Biguns 19:08, 9 August 2008 (EDT)

Can you give me an example from this site of the minimum size which you consider large? That way I'll only categorize by that from now on. -Biguns 05:07, 10 August 2008 (EDT)

What do you think

Of this whole dilemma, that happened the over a day and half? (If you haven't noticed). Apara 11:00, 13 August 2008 (EDT)

He/she was told many times about having it discussed. But didn't listen. I'm sure it wouldn't had been a problem. But too late now. Apara 11:43, 13 August 2008 (EDT)
I actually told him about what he was doing. Before reverting anything. I told him or her to stop. Until it was discussed. Even Dekkappai and Hex told him the same. But he or she didn't listen. Then got banned. I didn't want to cause anything, but reverting his edits was appropriate on my take. I was really annoyed when my user paged got renamed. Apara 11:51, 13 August 2008 (EDT)
Here's the talk page: http://www.boobpedia.com/boobs/User_talk:Wufei05 Apara 11:56, 13 August 2008 (EDT)
You are right. Apara 12:04, 13 August 2008 (EDT)

My 2-cents: I think Apara handled the situation completely appropriately. The new editor started making major prject-wide category changes with his/her very first edit. After several of these, Apara politely suggested waiting for a discussion. The new editor continued, and even reverted Apara when he reverted a few of these edits-- laying the grounds for an edit war. It was the new editor who created the entire mess, after several warnings from the three of us (hex included). So I think, no, this situation could not have been avoided, and the new editor borders on vandalism (strike that: IS a vandal, after I see what he did to Apara's page). I fully support a block. And by the way-- welcome back, Prophecy-- I was wondering where you went! Dekkappai 13:05, 13 August 2008 (EDT)

Oh, I just discovered the whole discussion after I wrote my comments... Prophecy 13:15, 13 August 2008 (EDT)

Template concerns

Hi, Prophecy. I've tried to load the Uschi Digard page several times, and it won't work... (It did work just now, on probably the 6th or 7th try.) Russ Meyer took quite a while... Does this spell trouble in template-ville? I'm planning on templating the List of Cinema Unit GAS DVDs article, because almost all of those DVD covers also go on one or more actress page. I'll separate the list into year first, but still I'm concerned-- are these templates going to load? Dekkappai 18:56, 13 August 2008 (EDT)

OK-- Uschi loaded just fine, and quickly right now... So who knows what's going on? Anyway, I'll forge ahead with the templating plans. Once I break the big GAS list into years, there will be less than a couple dozen videos in each sub-article, so it shouldn't be too bad. Dekkappai 09:28, 14 August 2008 (EDT)

Problem with Google template?

Hi, Prophecy. I've been noticing that the closing parenthesis on the Google template seems to have a line-break before it. Check out the sourcing at Image:Moa Anzai.jpg (my latest discovery/obsession ;) for an example. Dekkappai 15:30, 18 August 2008 (EDT)

Thanks-- I noticed the server hiccup, and I figured the fix was going on :-) Regards. Dekkappai 15:50, 18 August 2008 (EDT)
One more minor template issue: If you check out Moa_Anzai#Life_and_career, you'll see the inline templates of video titles (Big Tits Moa 111K and Big Tit All Stars, Vol. 1) are not italicized, which they should. I'm stepping out now, so won't be editing and interfering should you decide to update the code. Cheers! Dekkappai 17:32, 18 August 2008 (EDT)
OK-- strange that the title is italicized alright in the filmography, but can't be italicized in an inline reference... anyway, I think it's fairly important to italicize film titles, so I've devised a work-around. Unfortunately that work-around means we either have to have all the non-title info (year & director) in italics also, or put that non-title info outside the template... I took the latter course. Dekkappai 20:32, 18 August 2008 (EDT)
Thanks! Dekkappai 00:02, 19 August 2008 (EDT)

Hi Prophecy. OK, I have to admit to not paying much attention to many of the parameters in the "Biobox new" template. One that's confused me is "Frontal" I take this to mean fully nude, "Frontal"? If so, it is confusing to me why a certain editor has removed "Yes" from frontal at Chiharu Mizushima... Mizushima has done full nude (with nothing censored-- i.e., illegal in Japan) hardcore, etc. pretty much anything and everything I could think of that would be called "Frontal"-- and much of it is easily found on the Web. So wouldn't that be a "yes"? Dekkappai 09:44, 19 August 2008 (EDT)

No trouble... Just an opportunity to display the flower of Mizushima's womanhood. And a lovely sight it is to behold ;) Much more aesthetically pleasing to me than all these male appendages I'm coming across in other articles :-(... Cheers! Dekkappai 11:19, 19 August 2008 (EDT)

Video articles

You know, while we were developing these video templates (which I'm really just now starting to implement), you mentioned thinking the front-cover (smaller) image should be at least 240px for a potential future article on the video. I commented that there probably wouldn't be such articles, and that the images were just going to be used in filmographies... Well, the more I hunt around and research, the more I think you were right. I probably still have a bit of a Wikipedia mentality left over, "Any film less 'notable' than Citizen Kane is subject to deletion review, and even Kane had better cover his ass with plenty of 'reliable' sourcing!"... I'm finding good, lengthy, professional reviews (in Japanese) of each individual video, and well-written fan-based reviews in English. It certainly wouldn't be beyond the scope of BP to have such articles... I'll try to find images at least 240px when I can... screen caps could be used to illustrate particular scenes, reviewer ratings could be discussed, etc... BP's still a young and small project, so we're still covering the basics, but it's a thought for the future... and further justification of these templates. Just some thoughts... Cheers! Dekkappai 19:55, 19 August 2008 (EDT)

Right-- I kind of circle around in my editing... I'm back with the Japanese actresses now, but I'll get back to Gaston Lachaise soon-- lots more sourcing to go through with him... I'm not into comics, but I've got in mind an article on the cartoonist Gilbert Hernandez also-- Know him? This and this may give you an idea why his work has caught my eye as a potential BP subject. GREAT work on the Katja Ehrhardt article by the way! OK-- back to work! Regards. Dekkappai 21:00, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
Did I just cause a small crash? I uploaded 32 video templates. Things slowed down in the middle of the uploading, and I waited a while. Everything was fine until I uploaded the List of Cinema Unit GAS DVDs: 2007 article. It registered in the "recent changes," but I couldn't get it to display. I was at another computer about half and hour later, and couldn't get Boobpedia to load at all. I'm back home and everything seems fine now-- I can see the list article... Think things are alright now? Dekkappai 19:55, 20 August 2008 (EDT)
OK, I'll proceed with caution... Last night I started List of Cinema Unit GAS DVDs: 2006, which was half-complete (30 templates were on the article, but only half had content), and it seemed to go fine... Although Uschi's filmography templates are almost all empty as well... You're right, the more prolific actress articles are the ones that are going to give us more trouble here... Uschi seems to be working fine right now-- I'll take out that template list & save it to my workspace. Hopefully we have no crash :-) Dekkappai 10:38, 21 August 2008 (EDT)
Strange... I got into Uschi's article fine and removed the templates, but now I can't open my own Uschi filmography-- at my user space... I'll save it on disk. Dekkappai 11:13, 21 August 2008 (EDT)

More minor template issues

Hi again Prophecy... While working with these templates, I'll probably come across more minor issues. One is the Series / Notes fields (I think I mentioned this before). I'm finding that I'm pasting Series info twice, once in both fields, to get it to show in the "Notes" field-- which I think is useful. If you're fine with this redundancy, it doesn't bother me much either. The second issue is a little more significant. If you look at Mammary_intercourse#In_Japan, you'll see I've made reference to a video, and the template puts it as "Big-Titted Tit-Fucking Perverted Woman: Kira Namikaze (Jiro Kanoko, 2007)", which is fine, except that it doesn't give a source/reference. The citation will appear in the "References" section, of course, but we won't be able to tell the exact point in the text that it refers to, because the "Release date" is not listed inline. Actually, I think, for videos, that displaying release date inline would be useful and appropriate, and that would solve the citation problem also. I tried entering "{{film|GAS-062|released=1|director=1}}" instead of "{{film|GAS-062|year=1|director=1}}", but this didn't work. Would adding this variation to the inline citation be too much trouble at this point? The alternative would be to put the citation after the inline template in the article, but that defeats at least some of the purpose of the template, and would also result in a mysterious double-citation (one from the actual template, which does not indicate where it came from within the text)... Also, the issue of inline citations of actual films will come up eventually... Dekkappai 13:43, 21 August 2008 (EDT)

(Sorry for posting that in the wrong section) anyway-- is this a solution? In Template:GAS-062, I've moved the citations to the "name" field. This displays fine, so far, in filmographies and inline citation. In an article on the video itself, it's going to display in the title portion of the infobox, above the video cover image, I assume-- which is fine, I would think. The only possible issue with this I can see is how that field is used-- The template is not going to be looking for a film article with that exact name, is it? I assume the template looks for the exact text after the "article" field... When and if we do start articles on individual Japanese videos, this will be a minor issue since I prefer identifying them by the "ID#" rather than the Original Research-ish English title I've made up, or copied from the poor-English on the video cover, but again, not a big issue... Dekkappai 14:17, 21 August 2008 (EDT)
(Please let me know as quickly as you can if putting the reference in the "Name" field is an acceptable solution, since I'm preparing templates right now. Cheers!) Dekkappai 14:29, 21 August 2008 (EDT)
Series / Notes solution: Perfect-- just the solution I had in mind, thanks! :) The inline citation problem: No, those mysterious numbered citations in the reflist section corresponding to no number in the text (which results from using the template inline) does seem to me to be a pretty important problem. It's the kind of thing that can be very frustrating for a reader, and will make our articles look bad... So, if there really is no way to work around this, I think we'll just have to not use the templates inline... I guess we can't use them everywhere... Actually, the template sourcing is for the data contained within the template, which is not normally part of an inline mention of the film, so there really is no need to use a source from the template in an inline reference. The only advantage to having the template used inline is if the year, title or director of the film/video is changed within the template. (In the case of the videos, where the data is difficult to find, and can potentially be corrected later, this is a valid use for the template, but I think the citation problem is a bigger issue...) I guess we'll have to just use the templates for Infoboxes and Filmographies. Anyway, thanks for all the work, and I'll continue on! Dekkappai 16:32, 21 August 2008 (EDT)

Thanks again

Hi, Prophecy. I finally finished templating the Cinema Unit GAS DVD list, and now I'm plugging them into the actress articles. I have to thank you again-- this makes the process of adding new videos to filmographies amazingly easy... Only one thing I've come across while doing this is that when an actress has a non-templated film on her filmography, the process of creating a "temporary" inline template is actually much more time-consuming than creating an actual template... Maybe I'll just keep these in tables (creating a temporary, awkward double-filmography) when I don't have time to create a full template... Anyway, Cheers! Dekkappai 12:15, 22 August 2008 (EDT)

Non-template filmographies?

Hi, Prophecy. Again, the templates are working out great! I have a question though: My old table-based filmographies look quite different and obsolete now, compared to the new ones. I think most of the current ones-- filmographies of fairly major (within the genre) actresses & labels-- can be templated eventually. However, there are some situations that will never require templates, I don't think. The case that brings this to mind is an article/filmography I'm planning on a candid-camera sort of series, where the cameraman basically films busty and BBW women walking down the streets of Japan. I find the subject quite worthy of an article, but there would be no need to template the individual videos, since we're not going to have articles on any of the individual women, or, most likely, any of the individual videos. Doing the regular inline "temporary" template would probably be inappropriate in a case like this also... Could you give me table-based code which would make a table that looked the same as the new template filmographies? Or is there another way around this? Dekkappai 22:33, 25 August 2008 (EDT)

Thanks Prophecy. Right, I could build this sort of filmography through the Film template-- but doing this with Uschi has caused problems, so I thought that when the actual templates are unnecessary, just doing it as a table would be better-- as long as we can make table that look identical to the new template filmographies. I'll experiment both ways though to see what works best. Regards. Dekkappai 23:49, 25 August 2008 (EDT)
...That makes sense... but the Uschi filmography only had two or three films with actual film template files... the rest were just calls to the "Film" template... anyway, I'll experiment and see how things work both ways. Dekkappai 00:14, 26 August 2008 (EDT)

DVD / VHS release?

Hi Prophecy... on the videos, occasionally I've come across conflicting release dates, and now I see what the issue is: They're released in 2 formats, on different dates. Do we want to address DVD / VHS release date? Or just go with the earliest release, and ignore the format? In my old table-filmographies, I used to include both releases, but it's probably no really necessary. Regards. Dekkappai 11:26, 31 August 2008 (EDT)

Ah, that would work. But would it foul anything up if I put the format after the date? Like: "September 28, 2007 (DVD) <break> December 28, 2007 (VHS)"? Dekkappai 11:34, 31 August 2008 (EDT)
OK-- working out fine. Thanks! Dekkappai 12:00, 31 August 2008 (EDT)

Linking Years / Dates

Hi, Prophecy-- what's the "official" policy on year & date linking? Should I be linking them all? Dekkappai 15:32, 2 September 2008 (EDT)

Great-- I'm in complete agreement about the dates. When I first came over here, from Wiki, the general practice seemed to be to link pretty much nothing except big-boob models. I think having the date articles-- even including big-boobed video releases-- is a great idea. (I assume we still do not link dates such as "accessdate" and "date" within reference citations though?...) Looking forward to seeing what you're cooking up with regards to "Feature Articles". Naturally, I want them to stress the quality and interest of the article, rather than the commercial benefit. Dekkappai 15:50, 2 September 2008 (EDT)

Hi Prophecy. About the collaboaration squabble: That applied only to the one article. I had tried to post the Internet Archive link along with the templated reformatting 3 times, due to Edit Conflicts, till it finally went through-- and then was rather annoyed when you quickly reverted that... But what really rubbed me the wrong way was the quoting of Wikipedia-policy. I hope the Feature Article idea is only meant to improve our articles, and not to gain some sort of validity in the eyes of Wikipedia. There are Admins at Wikipedia who will never give our project any credit, ever, no matter how good our work may be, simply because of the name of the project. Also, many of our policies are bound to be different frim Wikipedia's, and this will convince other literal-minded Wikipedians that our work is worthless. I really think we need to separate our thinking from theirs, and decide on our own what works and what does not. My feelings about some of the things that go on over there were strong enough eventually to make me leave, so, needless to say, I am very anxious that we don't see their thinking take over here as well. I'll look back at the article, if the rush on editing has died down, and see if I can contribute something this weekend.

About the Japanese subjects: Yes, naturally I come across S&M, B&D all the time. Neither of these are my "thing", but I tolerate them due to my passion for Asian women :-) (Also, looking into the U.S. sexploitation films of the mid- to late-60s-- the "roughies"-- I see themes just as disturbing as any in Japanese cinema. The Japanese did continue these violent themes longer, but that's only because the U.S. sexploitation film was taken over by hardcore pornography... And with the U.S. hardcore porn's focus on male equipment and anal sex, frankly, I don't see how anyone could enjoy it without having some homosexual inclinations... but I digress...)

Even as a non-fan of the genre, I'd have to point out one of the great Japanese bondage actresses / scenes as Naomi Tani at the end of WIfe to be Sacrificed. That gal can wear ropes well :-) I just came across a short video clip with the breath-taking Moa Anzai. A belt is wrapped around her impressive bosom, and a fun time is had... (I can't check the link right now, but I'll post it to you tonight.)

As far as something more substantive on the subject-- I've never looked into it (just off-hand, "shibari" is the term used for bondage), but I'll look around and see if I can dig up some sourcing and info.

Don't worry about the "collobaration" thing-- I can be a bit cantankerous at times, but you and I have worked well together for quite a while here, and we will continue to do so, I'm sure. Cheers! Dekkappai 16:24, 5 September 2008 (EDT)

Hi, Prophecy-- Don't forget to take a historical perspective on your "Wardrobe malfunction" article: Jayne Mansfield was legendary for "accidental" exposure (just look at the lead picture of our article, for one famous instance), including this legendary encounter with Sophia Loren. Jayne_Mansfield#Wardrobe_malfunctions gives info on the incident.
Here is the promised boob-binding with belt Moa Anzai video (about 45 seconds into the clip-- but feel free to enjoy it all :-) (It will download as a .ZIP file, and I'm sure you know what to do with it from there.) Here are two images: 1 and 2.
Yes, I know very well that there is a lot of good about Wikipedia, and a lot of good people working there, and we should not hesitate to imitate whatever they get right... Let's just make sure we don't follow them blindly, because there are kooks there, and like kooks everywhere, they tend to accumulate power :-) I hope I can eventually find a way to go back into editing at Wikipedia.. because I do have non-boobish interests I'd like to research and write about... eventually... :-)
Some of the Wiki/Boobpedia history includes a certain admin permanently blocking Hexvoodoo from the site after he posted some invitations to join BP at appropriate talk pages on WP (this ban was done without warning, a couple months after Hex had last posted such an invitation, if I recall correctly-- and it was rescinded after the Admin was reasoned with...). Also, there is a "List of big bust performers and entertainers" at WP, and some of us thought a link to BP was appropriate as an outside, subject-specialist Wiki at that page. Others disagreed, and while a debate was ongoing (in which the other side refused to listen to any logic, claiming BP was "Just another porn site"), another editor was permanently blocked for putting the link back in... But these are history, and isolated incidents. What finally drove me away is the insane deletion policy, which I've battled against since I first joined the site a couple years ago. Anyone is free to nominate anything for deletion, whether they know anything about the subject, or care about it, or are actively opposed to it, or have made any effort to research it... and these same people are free to decide its fate... and it's up to people who hate book-burning, basically, to either drop their own editing interests to rescue it, or to sit by idly while perfectly good content is removed... You were surprised WP didn't have an article on breast-binding-- but I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was one, once, but that someone managed to get it deleted... I saw award-winning, internationally-aired Korean and Japanese TV series put up for deletion... while individual episodes of U.S. TV series thrive at the site... But I don't want to rant and rave about Wikipedia here-- I've done enough of that at Wikipedia over the past couple years. :-( And there are so many boob-articles to get to work on! :-) Dekkappai 00:16, 6 September 2008 (EDT)

Some quick pointers

Hi, Prophecy-- I did a little looking around, and the term for "breast bondage" in Japanese seems to be "胸縄"-- mune nawa lit. "breast rope". Here is a page demonstrating various ties. ("Kinbaku" is another term for bondage/"Shibari").

As far as actresses who deserve prominent mention in a Japanese breast-bondage section: Definitely Naomi Tani: "Queen of SM", and known for her large chest, for the time, in Japan. Also, Ran Masaki. All of Ran Masaki's films probably deserve articles here-- she was probably the first Japanese bondage star known mainly for her bust. In fact she could serve as the main image in the Japanese section. I rest my case ;-) Dekkappai 18:56, 6 September 2008 (EDT)

Something else to think about in "Breast Bondage": [1] Emi Ohashi. Dekkappai 19:25, 7 September 2008 (EDT)

If you like Mahatma Gandhi, you may also like Benito Mussolini

Do you know anything about these "you may also like" sections? At first they annoyed me as personal opinion/preferences, but after looking into them... they're totally absurd. Take a look at this: Rio Natsume, a very skinny Japanese model with big boobs, is linked to Pandora Peaks, an "average"-bodied women with enormous implants, and to Aneta Buena, a "chubby", full-figured all-natural gal. What is the connection? Makes no sense at all to me... Dekkappai 02:36, 7 September 2008 (EDT)

Thanks for the replies, Prophecy-- I gave you an earful yesterday (I'm home alone this weekend :).... No need for you to reply to everything, but did you get the notes / video & images on breast bondage? About the "If you like"-- I like the idea of pointing users interested/knowledgeable in one area to another area they might not be aware of (European to Asian, as you mention), but I still just see no similarity between Rin Aoki and the other two models... I could probably think of some more appropriate comparisons, and might substitute later... About Wiki (and I am trying to avoid talking about it here :)... Actually, I don't think I personally ever had an article deleted. Perhaps it's because I'm a librarian that I find anything resembling book-burning or the intentional removal of information to be so abhorrent. I did spend a lot of time rescuing other people's work, as you experienced. But I could not gain much satisfaction from saving these articles from deletion either, 1) because I was forced to either ignore my own work to save this other article, or do nothing and see it unnecessarily deleted, and 2) because even if saved, someone else could put it up for deletion again in a week or two, and keep repeating this until it does get deleted. Last night I spent a couple hours comparing our own "GFDL" articles with what was at Wikipedia, and found about 50 articles that had been removed... including one on Candy Samples, a major star of the '70s. Two editors (one an admin, and the other on admin track) claim to be porn specialists, yet they voted for the deletion of Carol Connors, another major, major figure in U.S. '70s entertainment. And these are just the articles on our own very small area of interest-- this shows that on a constant, daily basis, good articles are bing deleted from Wikipedia. I found the same going on with images: Film posters-- acceptable Fair Use by Wiki-rules, but some even Public Domain-- were constantly being mis-tagged and deleted... and I was running around screaming about this unnecessary loss of good contributions, but no one seems to really care. Anyway, I think we can turn this to our advantage-- I'll keep watching what's up for deletion that relates to our project, save it here, without the GFDL template, and then be able to get some actual satisfaction at Wikipedia's loss :-) There's one up for her third deletion right now, after an admin wannabe removed a point of "notability" from the article as being "spam"-- So here comes another article to us! Gee, I actually hope she gets deleted now!... But enough of that... I'll go take the dog for a walk, get some breakfast and settle in for some work here on some nice, soothing Japanese subjects. Take care! Dekkappai 11:06, 7 September 2008 (EDT)
OK-- good luck on it, and looking forward to reading it... I think the paizuri article has potential also to be expanded a lot and become an interesting article-- For example, the video at Template:GAS-061 has a video clip in which Mizuki An demonstrates various paizuri position/ techniques, and a Japanese term is applied to each one... I'm trying to get the Big Breasted Japanese AV Actresses into more blue- than red-links, and then will dig more into these types of articles, and improving the actress stubs. The more I work here, the more potential for interesting work appears. :) Cheers! Dekkappai 15:01, 7 September 2008 (EDT)

First video

Hi, Prophecy. Uh oh, the genie is out of the bottle... I've started my first video article, Pocha Pocha Princess Pretty: Usagi :-) Since this area has the potential to grow exponentially, do you think we need a separate "Video" category, rather than grouping them together with "Films" (theatrically released)? Ah... Never mind... I see someone had the presence of mind to start the category already! ;-) But the question now becomes: Do you think the "Film" category on a video is inappropriate? I lean towards "yes" and will remove it. Dekkappai 16:36, 11 September 2008 (EDT)

Right-- that was the question. Question 2: This "video" is actually a DVD. It's probably not necessary-- and would be needlessly confusing-- to create separate DVD/Video categories, but maybe we want to put an explanation at the top of the "Video" category, that this includes works released originally either on videotape or on disk? Dekkappai 17:21, 11 September 2008 (EDT)
Ah, of course you're always a step ahead of me! I'll try to start filling in the category this evening and tomorrow. Reviews and screen-caps should help. Dekkappai 22:14, 11 September 2008 (EDT)

Bra Sizes

Hi Prophecy. I hadn't changed my wife bra size. in her thumbnail....my bad. That pic was taken in early 2007 (I've been a member of Boobpedia since October 2006). In actuality she takes a 52-DD(E), according to her girlfriend's measurements. Balin42632003 22:45, 12 September 2008 (EDT)

Video released in date categories?

Hi Prophecy. Do you think it would be worthwhile to add the release dates of films and videos (at least the ones that have their own articles started) to your date article/categories? Or would it clutter up the page too much? Dekkappai 11:37, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

I agree listing each video release would potentially overwhelm the date pages. I hope you agree that starting stubs on them is not a waste of space though, since it does, at the very least, display that nice template :) Maybe here's a better idea: For series, companies, actresses, we list the first/debut release, and maybe mention how long it continued? "March 9, 2007: First two entries in the Maple Muffin Hotel video released. The series continued until November 9, 2007." Does that sound worth doing? Dekkappai 11:55, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
Oh-- and yes, I would think every Russ Meyer film deserves mention, as does probably any theatrically-released film that deserves to have its own article here. Dekkappai 12:03, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
Thanks, Prophecy-- setting one of these dates up will take some studying, but I'll give it a try tomorrow-- I'm off to work in a few minutes. One minor quibble: I see you've put the Maple Muffin series under general "Events" in 2007. Especially for more recent years, there are probably going to be a lot of video and film releases-- and many, many more actress debuts. I suggest separate headings for "Film / video releases" and "Actress debuts". Dekkappai 13:19, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
Right, just thoughts for the future. No sense in setting up the headers before there is anything to put in them, and I don't know when I'll get around to starting to fill these out... So much Boob-work to be done, so little time... maybe next week. Dekkappai 13:31, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

Strange template problem?

Hi, Prophecy. I'm start stubs for the Oppai label, but coming across an odd situation: 103cm Jcup TOWA, for example... It is linked in the filmography listing at Towa Mitsui, but not at Oppai label. I tried creating a redirect article for PPPD-002, but that didn't make it appear in the "Oppai label" filmography. Dekkappai 02:44, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

Ah-- maybe I didn't make myself clear... I meant the article to the individual videos (103cm Jcup TOWA for example) were not linking off the the main Oppai label article. But for some reason they are linking now! I guess it must have been some server-lag problem (unless you changed something?). Anyway, problem resolved. Dekkappai 10:13, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

Playboy navigation templates

Great work! That is something that needed to be done. Cheers! Dekkappai 12:57, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

Someone had to do it, and you're the one who can get it done right :-) Here's another image that might be useful for your article-in-progress [2] That is the legendary Rin Aoki in the Oppai label DVD, 108cm Kcup OPPAI Exclusive Debut: Rin Aoki. Dekkappai 13:09, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

Books

Since we have videos, films on here about big boobs. What do you think about articles on books? The only one I'm aware of is "Big Book of Breasts".Apara 23:35, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

(If I may butt in) I think, absolutely, big-boob books belong here every bit as much as big-boob videos and film. I doubt there are enough to justify the creation of a template (though I could be wrong), but I'd be happy to see articles on books here. Dekkappai 00:16, 16 September 2008 (EDT)
Definitely, I'm been thinking about adding books for awhile. For a template, probably could use: Author, publisher, number of pages, who is in the book or about (meaning any women with big boobs), not sure what else. I'll try to gather info and make an article on it in the next coming days/week. Apara 19:18, 16 September 2008 (EDT)

Template addition

Can you have update the biobox to include Category:Lesbian when appropriate? I would, but I don't want to break anything. :) The Honorable 18:19, 21 September 2008 (EDT)

Template trouble

Hi, Prophecy. I finished templating The Joy of Big Tits main series last night. It all seems to work well, the page even loads (!) with all 62 templates. There is a problem though: The references fall apart at #45. They all seem to look OK in the individual video articles, but they don't work right on the series page... I've checked through the video templates neighboring on 45, and can't find the glitch. Could you give it a look? Thanks. Dekkappai 09:25, 22 September 2008 (EDT)

Ah HA! So YOU caused the crash by attempting to load MY article... It's strange, I saved the article, re-saved it a couple times (with all the templates), and viewed it again the next morning before I left the note at your talk page... Well, this is a big problem... I'm afraid to attempt to load the page right now, since I don't want to crash the server. I'll attempt it tonight. I've really grown fond of these templates, since they create kind of a hub around which a network of articles can be built... They link to the main series list, to the actress(es) appearing in the video, and then to the article on the video itself... What can be done? With the list of Cinema Unit GAS DVDs, I broke the list into years, which I'm not really fond of, because it makes searching the list for a certain video/actress more difficult. And the Joy of Bit Tits years are currently very changeable-- I've been taking some of the release dates from Amazon, when I couldn't find a more reliable source, and these dates/years are sometimes clearly wrong (later release dates). But they serve temporarily... So, breaking down that list into years won't be practical either... Maybe just in a #1-25, #26-50, #50-62 way? Not good, but better than crashing, I guess... Dekkappai 16:11, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

Previewing changes

Can you preview your changes to articles? I can't seem to. Apara 21:55, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

OK, I broke the list up into The Joy of Big Tits, DVDs 1-25, The Joy of Big Tits, DVDs 26-50 and The Joy of Big Tits, DVDs 51-62. I don't like this, but I guess it'll have to do until we're as big as Wikipedia :-) Strange you couldn't load the GAS pages-- I loaded them just fine now. I've noticed that after a crash the server catches up slowly. I couldn't load many pages after that big crash a month or two ago. Also, Apara's previewing problem above-- I've had that too after a crash. Here's a really strange thing though: Remember the reference citation problem I mentioned above? After the 45th reference, they all went crazy and just displayed blank, linked citation templates. When I opened the page just now, it looked just the same. But now that I have put them into three different files, they're all fine... Weird. Dekkappai 02:34, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
Strange. I was making a new article and once I previewed my work. I got a blank page myself. Luckily I didnt have that much info on it. I also wasn't sure what was going to happen when I made a new photographer template. But everything seem fine to me. For now......Apara 16:59, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

My name

I think you asked about my user name once, Prophecy. Here's a hint: [3] Old-school Japanese big boobs :-) Dekkappai 16:51, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

Russell Gay

Yeah, I forgot to place the categories when I made it. Little information indeed, I can't even find a picture of him. All I found was a description. Only info that I know was he’s British and published QT.. Apara 18:07, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

Video article/ID#s

Hi Prophecy. I was looking through the "Requested pages" list, and saw that several video ID#s are linked, though I've already started articles on them under the video English title. These are often "temporary" English titles I've made until I come across something more official. (If the video itself uses an English title, I use that for the template, as with Honey Dip's Hotel 01, Template:Honey Dip's Hotel 01) But for ID# templates, see "What links here" for GAS-045 for example. The template is Template:GAS-045, but the article is The Super Big Tits Best 2006. If this is unavoidable with using ID#s to identify the templates, fine. But do you think it would be appropriate to create a redirect for GAS-045 to link to the main video article? Dekkappai 16:31, 27 September 2008 (EDT)

Lesbian

Should I remove the lesbian tags I've put in the articles already?

And can I put lesbian tags on website pages? Cost 16:53, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

Category:Juliette Fretté paintings

Another fine idea :-) You know, I'm a big classical music / opera fan... and some of those opera divas would be quite BP-worthy. In fact, there's a video of Shostakovich's Lady MacBeth of Mtsensk which has a nude scen involving a nice & busty singer... But for now the Japanese models beckon! Dekkappai 12:30, 29 September 2008 (EDT)

Right-- I wasn't thinking of starting articles on Shostakovich operas :-) Maybe "Boobs in opera" and articles on the individuals who possess them. But that's all further down the line. Yes, we need more than just porn stars to cover the subject adequately. Big boobs existed long before implants :-) And I agree, if I detect your meaning, that all these "fake" boobs are neither very aesthetically pleasing to me, nor "honest" big boobs, in my opinion. But that's just my personal preference. Other editors do enjoy that sort of thing, and they're more than welcome to cover that topic just as fully as they want. Dekkappai 12:49, 29 September 2008 (EDT)

Template:Playmates

I accidently saved over it with Playmates of 1970, but I reverted it :/. Might want to look it over. Make sure I didn't mess up anything. I was using it as an example. Apara 03:36, 2 October 2008 (EDT)

I actually didn't notice the ---, honestly either way seems fine to me. Apara 07:17, 2 October 2008 (EDT)

Anna Semenovich

Hi, Prophecy. I set out to just do copy-edit on the article, but couldn't help myself, and restructured the article quite a bit :-) Still, it was a pretty quick job. I know I haven't put the references (first name with full ref) in proper order. Anyway, I thought I'd save it to: User:Dekkappai/Workspace‎ temporarily for your approval/rejection. The major change in the article, I think, was putting the biography foremost, and integrating most of her career into that, chronologically. (I know nothing about the woman, so if I've mis-arranged any of it, please fix it). Stylistically-- I know we don't italicize Japanese scripts in English writing, so I assume the same goes for Cyrillic. If not, again, feel free to change it back. Also, I believe the English should come first, with the Cyrillic in parentheses. We might also think about cutting out a lot of the Cyrillic-- are transliterations for the names of individuals necessary? I cut down on a lot of the bolding and italicizing. I put the lists of work-- photographers appeared with, TV and film appearances, after the body of the text, and in first-to-last order... And I did some copy edit. Feel free to use what you want, or reject it all. Regards. Dekkappai 18:12, 4 October 2008 (EDT)

No problem, I'll keep it in my workspace until you let me know you're done with it. I've just found a complete 300-page life of Candy Barr which will be a tremendous help on that article, and make it completely Wiki-independent... But I'm still, slowly, gradually, trying to get the entire Japanese big-bust industry covered. Tough work, but someone's got to do it! :-) Dekkappai 18:17, 13 October 2008 (EDT)

Server

Hi, Prophecy-- Is it just me? Or is it this (public) computer? Or is it this time of day?... It seems that lately whenever I take my one hour BP-editing break, I have constant trouble with the server... I can't get pages to open unless I repeatedly call them, then I have to save changes repeatedly to get them to go through... I wind up getting confused between windows and messing things up... Getting pretty discouraging... Maybe I'll just use this hour for research from now on. Dekkappai 16:47, 7 October 2008 (EDT)

Well, the time I do this is 1 in the afternoon, U.S. west-coast time. Maybe all the Hollywood people are hogging BP's server on their lunch hours? Who knows?.... Dekkappai 01:19, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
I've been noticing the some slowdown last night and today in the afternoon. I'd say about 4pm (Pacific time) it started to act normal again. Apara 01:39, 8 October 2008 (EDT)

Second entry for Playmates in biobox

Think you can input a second entry for playmates there were in Playboy more than once? I was going to see if I could of done it myself in the Biobox sandbox, but I had no clue what to do. Apara 00:41, 12 October 2008 (EDT)

Yeah I wanted to work on something different for a short period of time. So decided to do work on Playboy playmates (as you can see I did an amount of work). Even doing a photographer. On the biobox entries, I only did their first appearances. So yeah, the template would help with those other multiple entries. Apara 05:27, 13 October 2008 (EDT)

Navigation boxes?

Hi, Prophecy. As you know, due to the server/template issues, I've broken up several long lists/filmographies into smaller articles (such as the List of Cinema Unit GAS DVDs, broken into sub-lists like List of Cinema Unit GAS DVDs: 2008... and probably, eventually, some of the filmographies of the more prolific actresses will have to be broken up into individual years-- this might be a solution for Uschi, for example). Anyway, here's the question: Wikipedia has navigation boxes-- I created one for Rimsky-Korsakov articles there-- each Rimsky opera has a navigation box with which the reader can quickly go to another opera). Do we have such a thing? I know we have one for Playboy Playmates, but I mean a more generic one that can be used for studio filmographies, director filmographies, actress filmographies, which have to be broken up into sub-articles. It would be nice to be able to click through the years in these Cinema Unit GAS, and other split lists. I know I could put together something myself just through text/linking, but you've probably already got something better I could use :) Dekkappai 16:43, 14 October 2008 (EDT)

Books / Mags

Hi, Prophecy. Apara asked about boob-centric books a while back, and we all agreed they were worth having articles, though thought that there probably weren't enough to justify a book template. A couple things come to mind now though that might cause us to reconsider this: 1) In my own area, Japanese photobooks-- these are very popular and numerous, and just about every Japanese model, whether nude, buxom or whatever, appears in several of these. 2) U.S. publications such as the Playboy specials and specials put out by exclusively big-bust magazines. 3) Magazine appearances. A table-like format listing a model's magazine appearances might be nice... Just a few thoughts for the future, and nothing to act on immediately. God knows we've still got our work cut out for us just getting a broad coverage of the big-boob genre! An area that we haven't (to my knowledge) even touched on yet are the buxom, full-figured ladies of the 19th century stage... I remember reading a great article on these gals, 20 years ago or so... Wish I could find that article! Dekkappai 16:11, 17 October 2008 (EDT)

Oh right... The server... I guess put that magazine appearance template thought on hold for now :-( Dekkappai 16:22, 17 October 2008 (EDT)

Theory on Metric sizes

So I was browsing around some random articles. I was reading up on Marina Matsushima whom I've been aware for awhile. While I noticed it was stated that her J metric size is the equalization to an American DD cup size. Which we know is an E cup. Well I remember you determined on a Japanese model's cup size by her bust measurements. I remember it was an 34E (DD) and it's stated she's a G metric. So I was thinking maybe 2 metric sizes make up one or two sizes. But the problem is that G and J aren't really to each other in the alphabet. Which would mean H and I would be a DD/E also. This was something I thought about just recently. As you said yourself. We won't know the truth about these metric sizes unless we get hold of an actual bra or we can some how find out their bust measurements. Just thought I’d share this. Apara 18:20, 17 October 2008 (EDT)

Software update

Hi Prophecy. Do you know anything about this software update? Could it possibly have any good influence on the server's ability to handle templates? :-) Dekkappai 02:12, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

...Well, I just got two "Boobpedia has a problem" messages after posting the above... I guess that answers my question... :-( Dekkappai 02:25, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
I just tried to open a couple simple pages (Marina Matsushima & Ginger Jolie), and POOF! The server crashed. So don't go blaming me and my beloved Pocha Pocha girl templates! :-) Now, back to work! Dekkappai 22:07, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
the server reboot after the update was delayed (tech thought server was running fine). now we are running the newest version of mediawiki and i'll also be revamping the main page and adding interviews as well as featured articles. if you guys notice anything that is unusual, please let me know :) --Hexvoodoo 22:27, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Question

Do you know what countries/regions that use numbers for their bra sizes? Apara

Notes in Film Infobox?

Hi, Prophecy-- glad to see you back after the server problems have been resolved. :) I've been working on the IZM series, and noticed just now that the "notes" field doesn't seem to display in the film infobox. If you look at Template:ICD-74, you'll see the note, "Sequel to Step-Mother's Huge, Fat Tits: Shizuka Kyouno" in the Filmography entry, but not in the infobox... was this intentional? I'd think it should display both places... As it is, at the video's article, I'll have to put the "notes" information as text in the body of the article. Not a problem, but just wondering if this is how we want it done. Dekkappai 13:55, 11 November 2008 (EST)

No, no problem at all... If the subject had come up earlier, I'd have probably recommended including the notes in the infobox. But as it is now, I'll just include it as text in the article. Actually, this way will make these minimal stubs look a little more interesting :) Right-- I had to re-upload some images I created during/near the server troubles. Good luck with that. Penny Porsche

Penny Porsche is listed as a model that has appeared on MILF Hunter. I have looked all over MILF Hunter for this update and I hav not found it. Furthermore, the only model with the name "Porsche" in her name that has appeared on Reality Kings is Porsche for Big Naturals, who is clearly not Penny Porsche. I mentioned this a long time ago on Penny Porsche's discussion page but no one has responded.... yet.Cost 23:39, 13 November 2008 (EST)

"Just another commercial porn site"

Hi, Prophecy-- if you doubted what I said a while ago about some at Wikipidia who would never accept that BP is anything but "just another commercial porn site", check out this. The guy who did it has never appeared at the Porn project, and appears to be just another of those self-important jackasses-- an admin, of course-- who make contributing at Wikipedia so much less than it could be. I've come to look at the WP Porn project as our largest contributor of free material-- through their deletions, which seems to be their main purpose. Dekkappai 09:43, 19 November 2008 (EST)

" I wouldn't feel capable of judging if a performer is notable or not..." exactly my point-- we're "editors", not experts, when it comes to adding information, but all of a sudden we're experts when judging whether someone/thing is "notable" and should be deleted? Even if that person works in a language/culture/ time period with which we are totally unfamiliar? That's the major flaw at WP. I say if it's a verified public person, s/he deserves an article, no matter how small. But I'll live with it, keep picking up thrown out articles there and rescuing them here :) I've got a backlog of several I saved during the big server troubles. Once I'm back up-to-date on my own work here, I'll add them. Dekkappai 13:05, 19 November 2008 (EST)
I just posted the article on Satoshi Kizu which was deleted. It's totally unsourced, but I see no information in it that looks controversial or wrong (from what little I know of him). I do have some Japanese sourcing on him that I can use to back up the article later on. In the meantime, since photography is one of your areas of work, maybe you can touch it up. Cheers! Dekkappai 13:13, 19 November 2008 (EST)
Ah... I honestly didn't know anything about him but the name-- from the Tokyo Topless site... Well, if he's over-strict with his copyrights, maybe we should just allow him the anonymity he craves ;-) Dekkappai 18:05, 19 November 2008 (EST)

Right-- I remember seeing the name "Daktari" Lorenz years ago at Tokyo Topless. I even assumed he was a Japanese photographer, until I saw his article, and first name, here. Mariko Morikawa was featured at Bettie Ballhaus' site once, I know... so maybe there are other connections with the Japanese big-bust scene... Dekkappai 01:40, 20 November 2008 (EST)

Juria? I remember the... ah... face... from a couple years back. (here and here are her other two TT appearances, photographed by Takao Kudo, webmaster of Tokyo Topless, and certainly worthy of an article himself :) About the model, I can find very little except that she goes by the names Juria/Julia (ジュリア, or じゅりあ), Juri (樹里, or じゅり), and Juria Hakua (白亜朱里 - Hakua Juria). The single-names bring up way to many hits to be useful as a search, the Juria Hakua name brings up some chatter at message boards... one thread indicates that there's a video clip of her out there somewhere. According to this, she was in the October 1996 issue of Urecco-- a nude/glamour model magazine. And here she is in the January 1997 issue of Style H (is that her on the cover?) Here is a gallery of 5 more pics. I saw her listed at an "AV dictionary", but I could find no actual AV appearances... Oddly enough, she seems to appear on several lengthy lists of AV actresses, which may have been based on the old one I kept at my userspace on Wikipedia for a long time. But if so, she must have been trimmed out when I saved it all to the Big Breasted Japanese AV Actresses list... probably because I couldn't find any evidence that she had ever appeared in an AV-- definitely not because she's not BP-worthy. Anyway, there's enough info at Tokyo Topless to put up a stub article with a portrait. I'll do it tonight, if you don't beat me to it... Speaking of East/West connections (the happy story of my life :-), did you notice the info I found that Sofia Rose had appeared in the IZM DVD, Muchimuchi! Huge-Tit Dynamite 2: Sofia (don't you love those Japanese titles?) I'd seen her name from the Japanese DVD research for a while, but didn't know she was known in the U.S.-- and even interviewed here on BP! Wish I'd known about it then, and could have asked her something about working with the IZM people. Dekkappai 16:44, 20 November 2008 (EST)

Japanese categories

Hi, Prophecy. I think the Japanese models/actresses have a pretty good potential for categorization by studio/series/website, etc.-- as I've seen being done with the non-Japanese models. I tried starting my first this morning with Category:IZM models. (Not really sure whether to call them "models" or "actresses"... I'd definitely label pink film performers actresses, but then there wasn't a significant big-bust them in pink films. The big-bust boom seems to be limited more to the Adult Videos...) Anyway, if you get a chance, could you take a quick look at it and see if I've done it right? If so, I'll proceed with the categorizing tonight. Dekkappai 09:49, 22 November 2008 (EST)

Hi Prophecy. I take your silence to mean the above was done correctly. :) I have a tougher question though: The general Category:Videos category is getting too large and dis-ordered, so I want to start categorizing the video articles by Studio (other sub-categorizations may follow... "BBW", etc..) The first one I've made is Category:Marx Brothers videos. Within that, I've put Category:Videos, but I think a Category:By studio should be there too. But the "By studio" category already exists, for performers. Combining video releases in that would mess it up... Any ideas what to do? Dekkappai 22:46, 23 November 2008 (EST)

Any idea?

Any idea 1. If this is real and 2. Who this three breasted woman is here. www.itsreal.com --Bustanut 12:16, 22 November 2008 (EST)

Categories / combing articles & categories

No problem, Prophecy-- I assumed that's what happened. :) The studio categories have me more concerned though. I've redundantly added both [[Category:Films and videos by studio]] and [[Category:Videos]]. I'm not sure of the best way to do it. What has me more concerned now though is Honorable's recent merging of the Tokyo Topless article onto the Category:Tokyo Topless models. I think this is very wrong for several reasons... When we go to a category, we want to see a list of articles under the heading, not a full article with the articles stuck way down at the bottom. Descriptive text to a category should be kept at a bare minimum-- one sentence if possible, with a link to the full article-- as the category for Tokyo Topless would link to the main article ("Models who have appeared at the website Tokyo Topless."), and then go right to the listing. Also, since the article in this case also contains a listing of the models who have appeared at the site, separated by occupation, this now makes the two listings redundant right on the same page, rather than two different styles of listings on two different pages... Any thoughts? Dekkappai 09:18, 25 November 2008 (EST)

Right-- I don't question Honorable's faith at all... And not only because he could block me if I did :-) I think it was an idea worth considering, but I also think it's a bad idea... I already left him a message on it, just wanted to hear your opinion as well. Wanted to make sure I wasn't too far off-base in my thinking. Thanks! Dekkappai 09:34, 25 November 2008 (EST)

Sabrina Rose

Sabrina Rose has appeared as a Cybergirl for Playboy on June, 2005. How do you put that in? Also, there appears to be another Sabrina Rose who was born exactly a year after this Sabrina Rose. She also could be here...Cost 15:39, 1 December 2008 (EST)

There is also another Hungarian Sabrina Rose (with a D cup, but no article here). How do we differentiate between the two?Cost 15:32, 2 December 2008 (EST)

Harrison Marks

Hey Prophecy,

I don't know if you noticed, but I've done some work to the Harrison Marks page. Wanted to ask if you think writing about his movies is necessary? Since the Honorable noted that, doing a template/articles for his movies wasn't needed since they weren't really focused on big breasts. Apara 16:14, 3 December 2008 (EST)

Right, I didn't want to ignore it. I wasn't sure if I should of included information about his movies (probably not his 8mm's). Like Russ Meyer's films weren't focused on this subject, but still acknowledged. So it would be appropiate to include Harrison's directing work (pre and post bankruptcy). Also, wasn't there a way to put filmography on articles without templates, but in the same form? If you understand what I'm talking about. I think Dekkappai addressed this awhile ago.Apara 17:04, 3 December 2008 (EST)

BMI

Hi, Prophecy (By the way, my opinion about Marks above is-- we should strive to have good articles on our subjects, period. So write about his life and career. But since we are Boobpedia, we will, naturally, stress the boobs. A complete filmography at the article is appropriate, I think, but start articles only on those films which are big-boob-related.) This edit by Apara caught my eye. I didn't know about this BMI/body type calculator... Actually, I'd probably not use it because it looks so difficult to figure out :), but I do think this sort of thing would help fix my concerns about the "Body type" field Except for obvious "BBW"s, I don't use it because I think it's too subjective. Different editors give different types. Someone was labeling Fuko "chubby" repeatedly... Though it's still not as bad as the "you may also like" suggestions which I constantly find to be totally, absurdly off-base... Anyway, I've been working on a new Japanese BBW series which includes BMI statistics on all its models (the higher the BMI, the louder and prouder it is printed :) so I'd thought about mentioning it in the articles... Dekkappai 22:36, 4 December 2008 (EST)

Classic boob slips

Image:La liberte guidant le peuple.jpg? Nice boob-slip detective work there :) I wonder if the ancient Greek & Roman sculpture with boobs exposed would qualify? Also, in context of "Liberty's boobs" it might be worth noting some of the ultra-conservative U.S. nutcases who insisted the statue had to have a robe around her boobs... I can't think off-hand who that was? John Ashcroft? The funny thing about something like this is that people are so used to seeing Liberty's boobs that Ashcroft's display of prudery actually called attention to the boobs. :) Dekkappai 10:58, 5 December 2008 (EST)

You know we put those nutcases in power just to give you guys in other countries a good laugh, right? ;-)
Question on categories: I'm thinking about categorizing videos by genres (non-big bust genre, I mean, as big-bust is assumed. Things like BBW, Breast bondage, MILF, etc.) Do we have anything like this set up yet? And would I just start it the same as with series or company? Dekkappai 16:08, 6 December 2008 (EST)
Thanks Prophecy. I'll start populating the "by genre" category later this week... For the BBW sub-category, I'm thinking it will be better to just list the series category (for example Category:Big Tits X Big Ass: Full-Figured Beauty series videos) rather than including each individual video/DVD into the larger BBW category. That way, the user can click to the series to see each video, and we'll keep the BBW category from getting too large and unmanageable. Dekkappai 23:26, 7 December 2008 (EST)

Big bust performers

I don't think "big bust performers" was offensive in that case, just inaccurate. If Laetitia Casta or Sophie Dahl pose for Score, D-Cup, Ginormous Hooters, etc., then they're big bust performers. :) The Honorable 18:45, 5 December 2008 (EST)
