Soraya was born and raised in Governador Valadares, Rio de Janeiro and also lived in Copa Cabana. Before she decided to pursue her career in the adult entertainment industry Soraya attended as a bank teller and teacher at public school. In 2005 when she was 20, Soraya was invited by a friend to star her first porn movie but she said that she was only going to star in international movies due her parents and be the first from family do this.
