Patrícia Araújo (also known as Patrícia Oliveira) (born on March 11, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; died on July 6, 2019 in in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)[2] was a Brazilian transgender actress and glamour model.
Araujo once worked as a porn star and adult model, notable for rarely showing her breasts even when completely nude during her early days in the adult scenes. Her successful career have led her gaining a strong fanbase, which has made her becomes one of the most popular Brazilian adult models until her retirement. She has also worked as a sex industry worker.
Early life
Patricia Araujo was born into a middle-class family in Governador Island and named Felipe.[3] At 12, Araujo kissed a classmate, Andre, inside the public school where she studied. This event generated rumours that came to the school board's attention, and Patricia was persecuted by the supervisor. Thinking that the employee's intention was only to help him, Araujo, not yet open as transgender, confessed she was gay. As a result she was expelled from school in 1997 whilst still in seventh grade. After the incident, Patricia confessed to her parents, Severino Araujo and stay-at-home Terezinha Araujo, both evangelicals, that she saw herself as a woman, not a man and was attracted to boys. Her older brother, whose name she does not disclose, wanted her to be expelled from the house because of it, but his parents supported her.
Patricia began to dress as a woman, and guided by a transvestite who lived near her home, began taking birth control pills to become more feminised. At 15 years of age, she married a man twenty years older and lived in São Paulo. The relationship lasted four years and soon after it ended, Patricia returned to Rio de Janeiro to find work and complete high school. She could not find work and subsequently went into prostitution, first in Brazil and later in Italy, using the name Patricia Chantily.[3]
Career
Porn career
At the age of 19, she started working as a transgender model and escort in Italy and subsequently in Rio de Janeiro, and due to her beauty and sex-appeal, entered a successful career as a transgender porn star. According to various internet polls, she ranks among the most popular Brazilian adult models. Her talent really managed to win the hearts of many admirers and managed to attract many newcomers to transgender porn for her short lifespan.
When Patricia was performing in erotic films, she is notable for rarely showing her breasts even when completely nude due to her nipples being "crossed" or wall eyed. She's also known for her large buttocks and 8″ penis. She had surgery to correct this problem, and now has allegedly "perfect" breasts.[4]
Patricia would later leave the adult entertainment in 2005 to pursue a acting career and modelling.
Other career
In 2009 Araujo was featured in Rio Fashion Week.[5][6] She has also worked as an actress in the miniseries A Lei e o Crime and the telenovela Luz do Sol, both of the Brazilian television network Rede Record. In April 2009 she posed along with the model Pamela Sanches, for the magazine A Gata da Hora.[7][8]
Personal life
Later in her lifetime, Patrica have begun to lose her interest on men and gain more attention on women. Around that time she was searching for a female whom she may settle with. Patricia has been looking forward to leave the porn business to find a woman to marry as similar to Lisa Lawer, another transgender porn star who has left the porn business not long after. She's looking to find love with the right lady and have a child with of her own.
As times passed by, Patrica would later experienced clinical depression. It's unknown when she has started to feel a mood swing which led her to becomes depressed, but it has dealt with her health condition and livelihood seriously.
Death
On July 6, 2019, Patricia later died in a hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil after spending 10 days in there. The result why she was in the hospital was dues to suffering from depression. Her cause of death has not been confirmed, but suicide seems likely.[9]
