Brittny Amanda Erin Gastineau is an American glamour model, socialite, and reality television personality.

Biography

Brittny is the daughter of Lisa Gastineau and former New York Jets player Mark Gastineau. She grew up in the state of New York and attended the University of Alabama before returning to New York to pursue a career in modelling.

Modelling

After returning to Manhattan, Brittny signed with Elite Model Management joining their celebrity division. She quickly found success as a runway model for major designers such as L'Oreal and Ed Hardy, and appeared at Fashion Week in New York in 2005, 2006 and 2008. In 2005 she appeared on Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 list, ranking number 60. She still pursues modelling opportunities today.

Entertainment

In 2004 Brittny and her mother Lisa Gastineau signed to produce a reality show on the E! Network. Titled The Gastineau Girls the show premiered on February 15, 2005 and became a modest hit for the network. The show's first season chronicled Brittny and Lisa's search for love in New York City as well as documenting Brittny's attempt to become a model. The show was cancelled after airing two seasons.

In between seasons 1 and 2 of The Gastineau Girls Brittny appeared on another E! reality show titled Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive. This program showed the activities of the spoiled children of celebrities trying to live on a Colorado cattle Ranch.

While Brittny has not starred in more projects, she since has appeared on the NBC game show Identity, guest hosted several episodes of The View, and made appearances on MTV's The Hills and Cribs. Gastineau is best friends with Kim Kardashian and has made several appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardshians.

Brittny has a small appearance in the 2009 movie Brüno where Sacha Baron Cohen in the title character appears to trick her into thinking he is interviewing her for an actual television show. After a friend stated Gastineau regretted her appearance in the film, Gastineau insisted that she was "joking around" and also insisted that she was aware of the satirical nature of her appearance.
